I Need Help "New to photography"

Review Date: November 13, 2009

I am looking for a good Telephoto Lens, but the problem is they are very expensive. Now that I found this, I want to know if this Phoenix Telephoto Lens will work with my Nikon D5000? Thanks. I rated 3 stars, because of the good price.
Inexpensive Great Way for taking pictures of the moon!

Best value for taking pictures like those of a full the moon!
Litle bit heavy, so use a good tripod, but I have had great results!
I've tried to included a picture taken with this lens but had no luck.
On my experience the box in which it was packaged, was not as good as it should have been so once you recive it, make sure to find the T-mount inside.

Big Zoom - Little price!

The Phoenix is a good "long-lens" for the budding photographer. It offers the ability to get that great shot while staying away from the action or intruding upon it. With no f-stop selector, the Phoenix lacks in the high-end functionality route, but with a little practice, this lens will give you what you need to shoot sports, wildlife, etc... from a distance. You definitely need to use a tri-pod or mono-pod while shooting with this lens or you will have horrible results.
Good price for the product

I was pleased with the capabilities of this lense for the cost versus the costs of a comprable zooming lense from other makers. It was a good buy for the money and even though it takes a little finess to make it work the way I want it was better than paying thousands of dollars.
