Loreo 3D Lens-In-A-Cap - stereo attachment for your regular camera - Nikon mount Now, real 3D stereo pictures with your own Nikon camera. This special 3D Lens-In-A-Cap (Nikon mount) is for use with all Nikon cameras with Non-AI, AI, or AIs mounts. It turns your 2D Nikon Camera into a 3D camera. This self-contained, integrated beamsplitter/lens system creates the 3D stereo images on film and does not need any support lens. You take off the lens from your Nikon body and attach the 3D Lens-In-A-Cap, then just simply set the aperture and focus range settings right on the 3D Lens-In-A-Cap and then shoot -- it's that easy! The 3D Lens-In-A-Cap system consists of a mirror system to transpose two images through two 28mm lenses onto the film, thus there are no keystone imperfections like that with other mirror-only beamsplitters. The actual 3D stereo pairs are two side by side images (half frame images) in standard 24mm x 36mm format on the film, so no special film and no special processing is necessary. Stereo Prints These 3D image pairs can be printed like a regular print and viewed using a Loreo Lite Viewer (included), or view them in any other 3D stereo print viewer. With the Stereo Lens In A Cap, you will receive a protective lens cover, Lite viewer and instructions.

Loreo's 3D attachment makes 3D quick and easy. Although I saw a line in photos when shooting at blue sky at other times little affected the photos. A slight halo sometimes appears on the left side probably due to the mirror system--most of the time this is not a problem. This is a fun option. It fits my Nikon D700 like any lens but has its own the aperture and focus controls. I'd rather have the camera control these, but the images are still pretty good. Comes with Loreo 3D viewers for print and screen. Recommended for fun.
